SHOW SCHEDULE

We have shown our danes since 2001. After 6 years I have come to realize that I just don't enjoy the sport. It is a hobby that takes up free time I don't have. My family comes first, if I have time off I am headed to North Carolina to see my daughter and my grandchildren. My job comes second. As a nurse, taking care of my patients as if they were my family is extremely rewarding. My danes come third. I love to spend that little extra time playing with them and going for walks. When I have litters my whole focus is on my new puppies. I am a breeder first and foremost and very proud to claim that. Some people are exhibitors, others professional handlers and they are happy to never have a litter. I feel there is a place in the sport of purebred dogs for everyone and if you are not happy in your role what's the point? We were one of the few other people I encountered who did not care if they won at a show. Winning did not change my plans for my dogs or my breeding program. I never felt the need to have approval from judges or peers. We went for the enjoyment and fun, when it became neither it was time to move on. We will now occasionally show up, run around the ring, smile and take our ribbon and feel satisfaction that we participated in the sport of purebred dogs. We will update this page monthly with our schedule. Hope to see you there!
